Afghan rivals talk over vote boycott

Afghan president Hamid Karzai was holding eleventh hour talks Saturday with main rival Abdullah Abdullah in a bid to prevent his former foreign minister from boycotting an election run-off vote amid claims it will be mired in fraud.
